The Winterset Police Department was notified by the office of Iowa Attorney General Tom Miller of a program for victims of certain scams to collet possible refunds. Victims of certain scams who wired money through Western Union may be eligible for refunds. Iowans are urged to apply for the refunds through a newly-announced national refund process.
