During the month of December we began posting our weekly statistics on the City of Winterset’s website. This includes our calls and the names and charges of the people that have been arrested by our office.  The information can be seen at www.cityofwinterset.org.  We also post a link on the police department’s Facebook page.

The police department will be participating in the State of Iowa’s “I-PLEDGE” tobacco enforcement program. This program pays the department to conduct tobacco compliance checks.  Our officers will be doing those sometime during the month of January.
